Henry Christy - Bed Linen

Mr Henry Christy, returned to England from Constantinople in 1849 with a sample of looped pile fabric which was new to the Western World. His brother, Richard analysed how to mechanically reproduce the fabric and patented a machine to produce terry toweling on a large scale – thereby inventing the first ever machine made bath towel! Christy presented the first towels to her majesty Queen Victoria in 1851, and the Christy story started.
In honour of the founder, Henry Christy, the most luxurious Christy products are sold under the exclusive "Henry Christy" label.
Henry Christy bed linen is made in Portugal. All 100% cotton sateen fabric in 300-500 thread count.
